Tandinling Resort

Named after a local deity, Tandiling Resort Paro, sits on a 5-acre gated property nestled in an area of outstanding natural beauty with stunning views of dzongs on a precipice, deity-formed gompas and fluttering prayer flags. Meander and take a short stroll amidst rice fields, farmhouses and grazing livestock to visit the oldest monastery in Bhutan, Kichu.

Styled in typical Bhutanese architecture, this family-run resort has 23 spacious rooms, in clustered sprawling bungalows, furnished with western standards of comfort. The 45-sqm rooms are fitted with cable TV, heating, shower stall with hot & cold water, lounge chairs, 12in queen and king-size mattresses, cotton sheets & towels, duvet, toilet amenities, hair-dryer, full-sized wardrobe, dresser with mirror, and coffee/tea making facilities. Panoramic windows present a vista of the National Museum, Ringpung Dzong, and the Shangchokor monastery amidst Bhutan’s famed lapis lazuli skies.

Reception handles airport transfers, IDD calls, internet access, and foreign currency exchange. Baby-sitting and massage services can be arranged.
